Osprey introduced one last fall but it looks like they've pulled it from the market.

Marsupial gear sells a chest pack, I don’t know how it compares to the hill people gear, but it’s high quality and has room for a pistol and a few pieces of kit.

i've gotta ask. What's wrong with HPG?

Thats my question as well. I love their products. The only real problem I have with them is that their stuff sells out of the colors I want before I can get my order in!

Have you personally used the Helikon gear chest pack that you are recommending?

Nada. Those guys (Hill brothers) design and use the gear themselves and their chest rigs are top notch.

Yessr, but a conventional chest rig and small pack are of more use to me.

yep. I just grabbed a grey Heavy recon kit bag and reay like it so far

I have no experience with their chest rig. I do own some of their organization- Synergy bags which are very well made and made in USA. I've had a HPG chest rig for a few years and love it. I also the have Umlinidi, Tarahumara, Juntion packs; I don't think you can go wrong with HPG.

Made in the USA too. Very good company imo.
