How long's it taking to get a NICE frame + Crew Cab these days?

John, no idea but noticed Sunday that MR moved it's showroom and production to a much larger facility off I-90... that's probably a good move for increased production and faster turn-around.
I just ordered mine last Sunday and it is due to arrive next Monday, 9/10. Mark from MR called me on Monday to talk over my order and tell me that the NICE frames in foliage were not in stock, but that they expected them around 9/15. Instead of waiting I opted for a brown frame and foliage bag, which is the set up he uses, and both are now en route. It was a great surprise since I was expecting to wait several weeks or months as others on the forum did.

Mark was very helpful and so far I am happy to have bought up to this rig.
Just ordered the whole shebang in coyote brown -- confirmation page said 2-5 business days. And I was worried about getting it before Christmas!
Just got mine today as scheduled. It looks awesome. Since I'm about 800 or 900 miles away from the nearest mountains (in Houston, TX), the neighbors are going to think I look strange wandering the neighborhood in a fully loaded pack.
You think you'll look strange in your neighborhood -- just think how I'll look wearing mine around the office the day it arrives.
You are braver than me. I tried it on with my office door closed.
The pack arrived Friday -- a week after I ordered.

Got called away unexpectedly to an off-site meeting, so my coworkers were spared the spectacle.

At home last night, I stuffed the pockets with nearly every T-shirt I own and my wife helped adjust the framesheet. Then I stuffed the daypack topper (surprisingly comfortable on its own) with a few more shirts and wore it walking the dog.

When I got home I opened up the middle part and dumped a hamper full of dirty laundry into it. Considering water and meat are a lot denser than boxer shorts, I suspect this pack will carry as much weight as I'd ever want to!
I walked the trail along the bayou by my house on Sunday. I loaded it down with 12 boxes of shotgun shells - lead shot for the added weight. It performed very well for the two mile walk.

I don't know what the total pack weight was, but I think it was at least 30 pounds total. I need to get in a little better shape too.
