So whats your pick for favorite mountain house dinner?
Spaghetti with meat sauce. I add a tablespoon or two of olive oil. Tasty for MH.
Beef Stroganoff
Starting to really like the Green Belly bars as an alternative. Not a substitute for a hot meal, but an efficient way to get some calories.
Turkey Tetrazzini and Mashed Potatoes with Chicken.
Stoganoff and Spaghetti are favorites. Chili Mac for a change of pace. Red pepper flake packets from the pizza shop are good additions.
+1 on the Beef Stroganoff

Beef stew is ok but a bit bland. +1 on Pointer's suggestion for pizza store pepper flakes.
Beef stroganoff with red pepper flakes is always a good choice. I also like the sweet and sour chicken with some a chili sauce packet from Panda Express!
Beef stroganoff is good, also enjoyed chili mac
Turkey Tetrazzini, Rice and Chicken, and that new one Chicken Noodle Casserole. They're all damn good.

I have been digging the Chicken Salad with a mustard packet on a tortilla for a quick lunch without having to boil water.
...that new one Chicken Noodle Casserole. They're all damn good.

Pretty sure that is the new name for the chicken ala king ... Tastes the same anyhow!
Breakfast skillet for breakfast and Teriyaki chicken for dinner
turkey tetrazzini and chili mac
Lasagna is first choice, followed closely by the sweet & sour.
My favorite Mountain House is something else....
Zatarains red beans and rice - I have not found MH meals to be very edible.
Chicken and mashed taters
Stroganoff, Lasagna & Spaghetti then Turkey Tetrazzini, Chicken Teriyaki and Chili Mac for a change of pace.
Stroganoff, then Lasagne, then Beef Stew. Havent tried the Chicken noodle casserole yet, but want to.
Lasagna or Spaghetti with Meat Sauce. Add parmasian cheese and an itialian spice packet to either. Overall I prefer Pack-it Gourmet though.
Chicken and noodles and beef stroganoff
Love blueberry granola cereal for bkfst
I wont eat the chit anymore... a chemical brew that tears up my stomach.
Try Packit gourmet in Austin. They make some good meals
I use:
Outdoor Herbivore
Mary Jane's Farm
Good To Go
Backpackers Pantry
Packit Gourmet
And occasionally some Alpine Aire.
Whats the attraction with packit gourmet? I just perused their website, they list ingredients and nutritional information. Not that MH is any better, but not impressive.

I've only eaten their meals one time. Not a favorite of mine, and haven't had a meal in a few years. Still treated me a little better than MH.
So what are some of your favorites, brands/meals?
