I am sick of pit stains and white marks on my merino shirts. What do you use?
Thank you
Woolite.

JK, Arm & Hammer non-scented baking soda roll-on, it's good stuff.
Gentlemen don't perspire.
I use Toms natural stuff. Don't bring any hunting though. I go au naturel in the woods.
Ban unscented roll on
2sticks,

NOW Solutions long lasting. I wear mostly dark T shirts and haven't noticed any staining. Stuff is a bit "frufy" as it's got a lavender scent, but it lasts up to 4 days depending on what I'm doing. The scent wears off in a few hours, so since I usually shower in the evening it's gone when I wake up. And lasting a few days helps on hunting trips when I don't have access to a shower every night. I got mine at a "natural foods" type store and online.

Used to use an Israeli one, Lavilin or some such, it lasted three to four days also and was mostly scent free. No staining either bu tI haven't seen it in awhile.

Lots here on this search, perhaps something will work for you:

Good luck,

PS ??? Join 2015 and your first post is about deodorant? confused
I hate antiperspirant. Just use deodorant.
Thank you for the suggestions. I will try them.
Yes, this was my first post. I can generally find answers to my questions by scrolling through this forum. But, the truth is that I usually find more interesting posts and forget what I was searching for when I started looking.
If pit stains on wool shirts are a problem, I got a whole lot more problems than I realized.
That's right. Like, your socks stink to high heaven.
And that is fine .. functionally useful. Incredibly awful foot odor covers the smell from the gastric fermentation of Mountain House.

70% rubbing alcohol for the last fifteen years. Same thing on my feet.
Mitchum unscented gel antiperspirant.

This is also eerily accurate.
Schmidt's

Good stuff and can last several days, depending on the level of activity. I use Schmidt's unscented, but they have several varieties. Schmidt's is aluminum and toxin free as well.
High_Noon,

Thanks for that link.

Geno
I am going to try schmidt's. We used boxes of baking soda powder in the 70's the floorboards were covered in it.
Valsdad & 222ai: I think you will be pleased with Schmidt's. The container lasts a long, long time as well.
Thanks for the link. Just found a retailer that sells Schmidt's near me, in Aus!
Lavilin deodorant. Lasts me about five to seven days depending on activity level. They make a foot version as well that Smokepole may want to try. wink
Dude, you have the worst pit stains ever.
Never used antiperspirant or any other chemical concoction. Stink bacteria need an acidic environment to brew. Have used just plain ol' Bob's Red Mill Baking Soda (no aluminum or any other additives) for many years, adding just enough water to make a loose slurry. Dip and apply with index & middle finger tips. Tested it many summers ago by cutting, splitting and stacking about 3 cord in the heat of July for the winter's wood supply with nary a whiff of pit odor. Surprised me. Have gone many days chasing alpine bulls with similar results. Chemistry works....
