Not rejecting the Kifaru Sawtooth models, but asking what else is out there to consider in a tent/stove combo?
Thanks
I like the teepees from Seek Outside and Titanium Goat. TiGoat teepees are super light and I think their WiFi stoves are the best (I own Kifaru and Seek outside stoves too). The Seek Outside tents are a little heavier but there are more options. Patrick
I run an older Seek Outside BCS and an EdT Ti stove. Absolutely love it. Though EdT isn’t making stoves now apparently so I’d look at the SO stoves.
Thanks fellas, I'll go check them out.
Seek Outside
Kifaru
LiteOutdoors
Ruta Locura
Thanks Jeff
It’s bulkier and heavier but I have a Snowtrekker that I use for winter camping.

I use an EdT cylinder stove (similar to the Kifaru and TiGoat cylinder stoves, haven't looked at them in detail to compare).

For tents, I have:
- AppyTrails V5 I modified with a stove jack from SeekOutside + sewn in 8? tent stake loops. works ok for two guys and half our gear. Packs covered with plastic bags outside the tent to keep dry-ish.

- Seek Outside Redcliff. Works great for 2 guys and a kid and a stove and all our gear. Can fit two guys and 3 kids (maybe a little more) without stove.
Look at the Luxe Hiking gear Megahorn with stove jack if you need a little bigger tent.About the same price as Seek Outside, ,maybe little less, but tall enough for most to stand up in.Total weight 8#'s.Then I coupled it with Kifaru's medium sized box stove. Roomy for two guys, packs and stove. Inner tents available for it for extreme winter camping.

For 4 years now I have been using and enjoying my Seek Outside 6 man tipi and an LiteOutdoors titanium stove.

Darn comfortable tent though. Better built than the Seek Outside
Good options to consider. Thanks folks for posting your experiences.
Vince, do you have the luxe stove, too?
Seek Outside Cimarron, w stove jack, and a small or mdm stove.

Saddlesore

I’m liking the looks of this tent looks like it has better ventilation than my Tigoat, do you have trouble with condensation in wet snowy weather?
I have not used it in that type of weather yet. I think you will always get some condensation in that type of water proof material However, that top cap is pretty loose fitting and it should help a lot.In real nasty weather though, you can seal it up pretty good.

They also sell an inner tent for them that supposedly does away with it.

Seek Outside put out a blurb on managing condensation.
