Several years back a hunting pard’s wife who works at Leathermans turned me on to this company’s lighting gear soon after Leathermans acquired LED Lenser out of Solingen, Germany.

LED Lenser makes some really good light gear at a price that’s not absurd-unless you’re comparing them to EverReady hardware store brands for $8 and $11.99.

I’ve run a lot of different headlamps and flashlights. I still have my Petzl, Streamlight, and Maglites around because of their quality that continues to be serviceable...

But, after using LED Lenser lights, I find myself grabbing them over the others for hunting.

Several cop buddies of mine bought flashlights. All confirmed the LED’s were better than their other tactical flashlight brands for lighting and every bit as tough.

I use the following: Head Lamps
H7R.2
H7.2
MH4 and the MH6

Flashlights:
P5R
T2
TT
P7
P5
F1R
T7.2

I like the Innogear 5000 lumens LED headlamp, heavy but really lights the area up.

Black Diamond ReVolt and OLight R20. Plenty.

I have always been pleasantly surprised by LED Lenser quality. I got a few from a similar deal, they were acquired by Coast at one point I thought, and a friend's brother gave me a handful. I've lost the headlamps, but still have the flashlights, and they rock. I expected them to be junk, but I've killed 2 streamlights while the LED Lensers keep working.
I have always got 3 or 4 going . I use them year around.
I will look up the Lenser, but tried quite a few and go back to the Petzal product. The latest is their rechargeable battery/ headlamp. I bought my first Petzal in 1982.Always curious what is out there.
