Hilleberg for me.

Big Agnes Foidel Canyon 2. Unforunately, they stopped making it..........

Below freezing, Mountain Hardwear VE-3.

Above freezing, North Face Guide Tent.
It will more than likely be below freezing.
What about the big Agnes shield 2?
Well I don't know what your definition of cold is, but I have been to 9F in a Kelty Gunnison 4 man tent we have packed in with two of us and three people. We split tent items for the pack in.
Do you want heated or unheated?

1, 2, or 3P tent?
Where (states/provinces) will it be used?
Above timberline, or mixed?

That’s probably the finest all-mountain tent design I’ve seen in years, from any maker. I notice it has borrowed heavily from the Big Sky Int’l Revolution series. The Revolution 2P with a solid interior would be another, lighter option I’d look hard at. The MSR Access 2 or 3P look good as a fairly light choice too.

Yep, basically a copy of the tried and true NF Guide Tent, except the Guide Tent has a heavy duty floor.

BTW, the Guide's rainfly fits perfectly on the MH tent when that tent needs to function as a double wall in lowlander weather.

I’m struggling to see how the Kuiu is a copy of TNF Guide... they’re very different tents.

Locus Gear makes lovely gear, but I can think of a lot better ways to spend $1,300 smile
I’m liking the KUIU!
