I have to be careful when I go to the range. These not being 9MM I wait until the range is vacant before I shoot. If anyone comes to shoot I have to quickly hide these 45 Autos and pack up and leave to keep from bringing shame to the gun club.

The only shameful thing there is the crappy vortex mounted on the Kimber, but whatever blows smoke up your skirt...

I used to own Spark II mounted on AKM. While not Aimpoint their products are not that bad. Kimber is ok. We must remember they make lot of 1911s. More products sold will mean higher incidence of reported issues. The first frames for their guns came from Smith & Wesson.
If I had to buy a gun today it would be the .40S&W.

Yep. If it does not read "Colt" on the slide and frame, you oughta take it apart with a hacksaw and toss the various parts into your neighbors' trash cans. grin
