I bought one on impulse recently and I like it. It looked well made and well finished and I felt the urge to join the modern world and get a striker fired pistol. (I'm really a 1911 guy). With the flat back strap installed it feels like most of my 1911s in my hand. Trigger, while not as good as a 1911, it isn't bad. Accuracy is good, reset is good and it's ready for an MRD with the co-witness sights and included mounting hardware. Function has been flawless so far.
TRH's comment on the release is true. I've found that slightly raising my middle finger when dropping the mag alleviates the problem. True, it is something else to hopefully remember under stress, but it will be a stay at home defensive gun and since my wife is a southpaw it will be beneficial to her. Plus, there will always be a 1911 near by.
If you have the opportunity to get one or try one I encourage you to do so.
