They look kinda crazy for Ruger

Normally on the fire there is always an opinion either positive or negative, surprised on such an interesting revolver that it just flat lined confused

Probably be a great gun.

Like the original Hawkeye, or the Boatpaddles.

But the price?

1800 bucks of super butt fugly.

Hard pass

A very interesting revolver looks as if it could have a barrel shroud similar to the Dan Wesson revolvers. Does say that they utilize a barrel shroud.

Polished action parts and the Super Redhawk action parts.

Could be a real shooter, only time will tell.

I'm not a Python fan. I'd take this Suoer GP100 over the Python 7 days to Sunday.
I think it is cool looking and it holds 8 rounds.

I'd have hard time spending 1800 dollars on a 357

Collectable guns usually don't become sought after.
Guns that are so stupid no one wsnts them do.

A few years after they are discontinued, people realize there
are very few of them. Then, suddenly, the price goes up and everyone
wants one.

This gun could well become popular with Ruger collectors in 5-10.

About like the Super Redhawk 10mm.
What an anchor for a comparatively light round.
I know I should have bought one.

A guy was shooting one of thes3 at the Steel Challenge match today. I think 9 mm. He did very well with it. I didn’t get an opportunity to talk to him about it.

Super GP100

Is anyone stupid enough to pick one of these over S&W PC revolvers which can be had for about $1200?

The Ruger looks better than the atrocities that S&W calls "performance center" revolvers

Does Ruger even make revolvers any more?

I realize they catalog a bunch of them...

You might call it stupid but I have a S&W PC revolver and I am thinking about buying one, for one thing I have never paid MSRP for a Ruger firearm ever, will have to check and see what the real price is. secondly the S&W PC revolvers are not as special as they would have you believe

Looks like fun, but spendy fun. I'm sure they'll sell a few. I doubt they expect this to be a big seller, just something to keep up interest and get some buzz going.

I'll stick with my 10 MM Match Champion that CDNN was blowing out for $600 prior to Covid...

No schidt. I haven’t seen a new Blackhawk on a store shelf in 2-3 years. Where are the Blackhawks???

No thanks.

I'm happy with my Security Six.

Like one of those in a 10mm magnum 5 shot with a beefier cylinder.

As I said in an earlier post on this thread, the guy I saw shooting one yesterday at steel challenge did very well. He was in the same squad I was so I got to see him shoot a lot. It’s a gaming gun, no doubt, not intended for anything else and the price is in line with a lot of such range toys. I haven’t checked yesterday’s results, but from the looks of things, he was eating the lunch of more than a few guys with tricked out autopistols.
