Okay, so the Easter Bunny didn't exactly leave this - I accidentally kinda' bought it off GunBroker. blush It started as a penny auction, no reserve, so I threw a bid on it several hundred less than I'd seen 'em go through, and promptly forgot about it. A week or 10 days later I got the ol' "Congratulations, you won!" email.

I'd been considering a Desert Eagle in .44 Mag off and on for years. The dirty white Cerakote model caught my eye.

Should be lots of fun at the range!

By the way, this is a BIG handgun. I've had, and have, BFRs, but this dwarfs 'em.

Nice, iv kinda always wanted one! Maybe one day!
Would be a nice one for IWB appendix carry!

Jk. Good looking gun.
Nice.

I’ve kinda wanted one,. If they were 1k I might think hard, but they’re about 1500 now.
That darn varmint has never left me anything but candy and eggs.

I went the other way and and picked up a tiny NNA Guardian .380 for pocket carry. Concealment is such a PIA down here during the summer.

I threw out a one time bid for schiets and giggles on GB and won. It has upgraded checkered wood grips and 4 mags.
Desert Eagle? Is it a .44 Magnum? Oh, yeah, if I hold my eyes real close to the screen, I can make out .44 Magnum on the slide. Looks cool with the Star Wars Blaster finish.
About 30 years ago, a buddy of mine bought a Desert Eagle in 44, it was entertaining to shoot, and it shot well, but neither of us could figure out how to carry the thing comfortably for deer hunting. Granted, that was a long time ago, and lots of custom holster makers are doing great things today, but back then, it was just awkward, to say the least, and neither of us had big hands, either, so they simply didn't fit very well. He sold it pretty soon afterwards.

I had a custom shortened Ruger SBH that fit in a holster and was easy to pack around, so I didn't mourn the sale of his pistol at all. I already had a good packin' gun.
In the video game, Resident Evil II, you eventually acquire a Desert Eagle .44 Magnum, which greatly ups your ability to dispatch zombies. The Beretta 9mm would require four or five shots to drop one, but the Desert Eagle only required one shot.

Eventually, you find the .50 AE slide/barrel combo to put on it, allowing you to handle some of the more serious mutants.

The Easter bunny left me a S&W M&P 9mm.

You have a nice naughty looking blonde there, and some of you guys are talking about the guns in videos games...

SMH crazy

Noticed that up in the campfire forum - the entire Kate Upton video was posted and then half of the responses were about her husband, who is a baseball player. Not implying any homosexual connotations but apparently old men's priorities change over time... tired
Also, the Easter Bunny didn't bring me a handgun but did bring me a Remington 513T.

Wait, what I meant was, jeez, that Kate Upton is one hot piece of cottontail. Hot Hot Hot!!!
I'm working a gun show at the end of the month. Hopefully I can raise enough funny money to buy some new toys.
I'm a heathen, so I celebrated Easter at the range with a Python in my hand.
Very nice, but I don't think even Kate Upton could hide that hogleg in her cleavage........
Yep, a nice unfired S&W M 57 .41 mag for me, 1980 or so ship date on it. Original box and tools included.

Sig P226 MK25.
Alright, who's going to tell the OP that there really isn't an Easter Bunny? I suppose he still believes in Santa Claus, too! grin
Apex enhanced kit for my s&w sd9ve. Yes I bought a Smith and Wesson after swearing off them because you got 5 boxes of Hornady American Gunner couldn't turn it down.

Nice Gen 5. Model 19 slide with Model 17 grip frame, essentially. What made you go that way instead of a 19?

No particular reason. Just liked the way it looked and felt. Plus the flush fit 17rnd mag.
Never owned a Glock before and figured this would be a good first one.
I all so got this back from a buddy, I sold it to him a couple years ago to buy something else. Well he needed cash and the rest is history.
