I was at a LGS yesterday and they had a really nice looking Shadow System 920 Elite. I liked everything about it but the Gold barrel (I know it is Tin coated, but still did not like the look).
Anyway, don't know much about it, what is the word on these, good or bad.

They are showing up everywhere nowadays, but I have no personal experience with them. They seem to be quite Glock-ish in design, so I'd reckon they're trying to be an upscale Glock, or M&P, or a hybrid of the two. I still haven't held one or fooled with them, but then again, I'm not a striker-fired, plastic-framed kinda person. I'm an old school steel-framed 1911 or P-35 kinda person. All those plastic things look alike to me, anyway, with the TIN barrels the only standout thing about them.

I am not a fan of the TIN coating (color wise) on the barrels, wish they would have gone with a different coating.
