Who do you buy your bulk cast bullets from and why? Who makes good ones?

I buy .44 and .45's from www.summersenterprisesllc.com. I only get the Hi-Tek ones anymore. Best price I have found. Next order will most likely have a few boxes of 9mm in it as well

Summers Enterprises is my choice! Best prices and great service! I like their 200 gr cast lead SWC .45 for my 1911’s.

I’ve been using Steel Valley Casting with the Hi Tek coating, so far so good.

Rimrock bullets.

Brazos bullets for 13bhn hytek coated range fodder - 9mm, 40sw, 44mag. Missouri Bullet Company for 18bhn more serious stuff.
Brazos is the cheapest, MBC comes in second but has a better selection.

I cast my own but I have used Oregon Trail bullets

SnS casting is worth a look. They offer conventional lubed or powder coated. And they have several quantity options.

For .45 Super or .460 Rowland, I use either the Missouri Bullets Company Pinbuster (weighs 250 grains) or the Montana Bullet Works LBT LFNGC (254 grains), the preference being the Montana offering but they can be hard to get.

For .44 Mag and .45-70, I use Beartooth Bullets 300 grain WFN and the Piledriver jr, respectively. They are not available anymore, so I may move to MBW for their products in the loadings. I'm quickly using my reserves up in theses chamberings.

In my .458 SOCOM, I've used bullets from Beartooth Bullets, Cast Performance, and MBW, with Cast Performance having the best profile for allowing seating that gives me some powder space. The CP claim they are lubed, but I don't see any so thet get the Alox treatment. Anyway, I get the best velocity with them with reasonable pressure. The Beartooth Piledriver Lite was my choice there, but again, I can't get them anymore. Weight choice here runs 350 to 405 grains

In regular .45 ACP loads, I use plated bullets, I seem to crank a lot of these out on my 550.

I've used others, but those are my favorites.

I'm about halfway through a 5k order of 200gr SWC coated .45's from Brazos.

I think I'll go ahead and get another 5k on the way. They are working great. Load them on a 1050. No lube/wax buildup in seat or crimp dies.

I switched to Hitek coated about 2 years ago - it would be hard to go back. I really think these coated bullets are a better mousetrap. I don't shoot enough anymore (maybe 1-2k per year) for the cost difference to matter.
