The Alpha Foxtrot AF1911 S15 is a Compact 1911 with a 15 +1 Magazine capacity that takes Glock G43x, G48 and Shield Arms S15 Mags. The DLC Coating gives it a super smooth finish. Thanks to Alpha Foxtrot for their help! Big thanks to Fiocchi USA for Supplying our ammunition!
I just threw up in my mouth a little.

Yeah, I understand that.
1911 in 9mm, just not ok.
If it uses Glock mags it about has to maintain the Glock grip angle for them to work properly. Makes no sense to me, so it'll sell like hotcakes.
Why not just Carry a Glock?!
You can buy three Glocks for the price of that thing. Personally, I'd rather have an M&P, they fit me better than Glocks.

But, I'm a 1911 guy at heart, and I'm tempted, but I've already got enough 1911s to get me thru. Even without a double-stack magazine, I feel comfortable.
That violates the laws of nature.

Apparently not.

My complaint would be that for the price, it should come ready for a low mount holographic sight and a little better trigger. Meh....

By golly you are right. Pic of the version for Shield Arms mags- close enough for Gov't work.

And the thousand words.

These are interesting pistols but not something I'd drop $1500 on.
I like the idea of compact hi-cap 9mm that has a SA 1911 trigger and thumb safety.
It’s not a true 1911…just not right.
If it takes double check Glock mags, that's retarded.

One of Blocks biggest mistakes was the plastic coated mags,
And sticking to them as the shrunk the 9mm guns.

I called that out years ago. "We need a G-19 with a CZ or HI-power
type magazine. Thin the grip, it's the biggest bitch against the gun, and
easily fixed."

Guys here tried to say how thin they are blah, blah, blah.

So Glock, in their wisdom, builds a fugging single stack 19,
keeping with the fat wall mags.

Once the aftermarket built an all steel mag that fit the dam thing,
sales take off.

Who da think it?

Why build a high $$$ gun to use inexpensive(but good) mags?

There are other existing examples that would have better suited the platform. Always wondered if a 45 width mag could be set up with
a different follower and lips and pick up a round or two in 9mm.
No comment on the pistol.

The Glock 43x and Glock 48 are single stack magazine 9mm.

The only Glock I own is a 48. It feels the closest in my hand to a 1911, therefore it feels the best to me..
The original 1911 design feels the best in my hands. Tinkering with the design leads to something that is "less" rather than "more".
I like it. Shield mags are steel, not plastic, and they are double stacked. There is no comparison between a good 1911 trigger and a good Glock trigger. And not sure how the grip angle throws so many people off. It's about 4 degrees.

Same people probably only drive automatic transmissions because thinking about shifting a manual is too much work. These people can forget about driving a motorcycle, or a plane, or a helicopter, as they require both hands and both feet. Gosh, or learning a second language. If four degrees on a grip angle is too much work, can you imagine how learning to use both hands and feet or an additional 30,000 new words would mess these people up?
Browning Hi Power for me please. If I ever see a Springfield SA35 around here it's coming home with me.

In other words, we all must adapt ourselves to Schlock Imperfection. No, thank you.
