Got good feedback on the Staccato thread I started. I wanna buy a really nice pistol, not just a $500 or $600 striker fired off the shelf Glock. I’ve got plenty of those.

Cajun Works CZ? Boujee Sig? Gucci Glock? I’ve got the Itch for a fancy carry gun and accuracy is the number one priority. Should I stick with a Staccato? Help me out. I have $2300 set aside.

A carry gun that’s going to get holster wear and see a lot of practice in drills, and if you ever have to use it, confiscated by the police for months or years while they validate that it was self defense is best for a utility gun. To each their own but IMO that’s why Glocks are Glocks. They work and it’s no big loss if you lose one.

It’s tough to beat a plain reliable polymer striker fired pistol for carry. I’d spend the money on a nice range or hunting gun rather than a tricked out Glock.

I like CZ products and there factory lineup of threaded barrels and suppressor height sites but for a carry pistol unless it’s a “BBQ gun” a factory Glock or FN 509.

The P226 MK25 is an excellent recommendation, throw in a dozen mags and a case of ammo and you are good to go.

+1 on the EDC9, I am very intrigued by it.

The available 18rd flush-fit mags are superb.

Sig P220. Ohio State Highway Patrol found it the most reliable pistol in their tests years ago. Accurate, .45acp caliber, and I like the DA/SA system. I'd get one with adjustable sights.

Second choice: Springfield XDM target sights, pick your caliber.

Third choice: Kimber stainless target, pick your caliber.

Fourth choice: Browning older style HiPower.

Funny, if I had to pick one it would be my old BHP!

You've gotta try a bunch to see what you like.

I will say that Deflave's Glocks with the prism(?) sights are really cool.

Any of the Sphinx pistols. Swiss made mechanical things are the most desirable in the world for a very good reason.
