Ameriglo, Trijicon, XS, what's your preference? I'm about to buy my 20th +/- pistol and can't decide. It will be for summer/light clothing carrying.
Ameriglow Operators are the best I’ve ever used. The front orange ring is so bright in daylight you’d swear it was a fiber optic.
I’ve tried a few different sights from ameriglo, trijicon, meprolight and triglo but Truglo brite sight Tritium or Tritium pro are by far my favorites. From what I’ve noticed truglo seems to glow the brightest of any ive seen. The normal brite sight is what i use mainly because i can get a more precise sight picture, the Tritium pro is nice for quick acquisition uses they have a big white front sight with Tritium center kinda like a XS but have a U notch rear with Tritium. I have had both for years and highly recommend em. Plus they’re typically cheaper than the others.
Holosun 507K and 507C, they are excellent for darkness

I actually had to grab a gun and go check things out last night, I grabbed my 507c equipped G19. I also grabbed a handheld flashlight and in total darkness, getting a proper presentation SHO wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be.

I intentionally bought plain black sights and now am thinking about going night sights to gain some sort of reference.

But to be fair, I’ve not been practicing SHO and now this pistol will have its own light attached.
I like the XS sights I have on a couple different pistolas.

I prefer one dot up front over the bar in back.
XS DXT2.
