Finally got my hands on a Springfield Armoury SA 35. Having shot a bunch of Browning Hi Powers over the last 50 years I have formed some options on how bad the triggers sucked and getting a rat hole dug into the web of my hand. The Springfield fired, fed and functioned flawlessly. Hammer bite is better with only a redness caused by the spur popping my hand. The magazines are good for 14 rounds but the 15th is a wish on the 3 mags I have. Overall it is fun to shoot being a 2.5 25 yard gun. Trigger stacks up to release then breaks nicely, safety and slide release sharp corners
Thanks for the info.

Mike
Did SA fix the extractor issues that seemed to be a problem on the early guns?

I don't think that crops up till the 1-2k mark.

Do you have big hands? Is that why the hammer spur is popping you?
My SA35 bit me too. I have big hands and the only thing that prevents hammer bite is to either cut down the spur hammer or the cylinder and slide no-bite hammer.
