I've been toying with this idea, anybody here do it? My Alaskan is a 454 so I'm concerned with how the sight handles the recoil. I've shot 10mm XDM with a Holosun 507C and like it.

Running a Burrus Fastfire on my 460 S&W, with more than a few maxed-out 400 grain bullets sent downrange…….so far so good! memtb

After shooting Sunday, I think I'm just going to leave it as-is.

I would be concerned about breaking the sight.
