I want to get one of these for my wife in 9mm. I have not bought a pistol before, just rifles. Where is a good place to start looking?Online? What the price range on these?

Find a good gun shop that is a stocking dealer and let her at least put it in her hand to see if she likes it. You can look online to gat an idea of prices and go from there.

I'd bring her to a gun store and let her handle it first. Not everybody like the way the glocks feel.

Yeah, even in an average sized man's hands, the Glocks feel kind of blocky, and don't point very naturally, and don't carry or conceal particularly well. Better pick might be the Kahr P-9. They come in chopped versions too, but even their standard size is plenty small. They carry and conceal a lot better than Glocks too. By the way, I have both a Glock sub-compact and a Kahr P-9 standard size.

If your wife isn't "into" guns you might try and find a range that rents guns to shoot. Let her try a few and see what she likes. Have her try a .38 snubbie also. Most women get along with those pretty well.
