Running low on my Hercules Unique Smokeless Powder. Decided this might be a good time to re-stock up on powder. Found out that Hercules Unique is now Alliant Unique. Any difference? Load data the same? Thanks.
The differences in buring rate are slight. If you're using Unique in any maximum loads, it would be a good idea to take a look at the Alliant web site and re-evaluate those loads. Since few use Unique for maximum loads the difference is hardly noticable.
One nice thing is the new Unique burns cleaner.

Says it all. That is all I use anymore in my handguns.
Unique is a great powder....I use it for all my 28ga. loads, and all my .38 Specials.
