I picked up a SS Bisley Blackhawk in 45LC and little while back and after I scraped up enough cash I sent it to Bowen Custom for the Kenai conversion. All I can say is wow, this gun is beyond awesome. Just need to load up some ammo and hit the range.
It started with a 5.5" barrel but it was cut down to 4". He did his action and trigger tune, installed an oversize cylinder pin, scalloped the loading gate and recoil shield, switched to a fluted cylinder and installed the Rough Country V notch sight with a tritium front sight.
Can't wait till I can get out and shoot it. Twins coming thursday so it might be a week or two before I can get out.
I must say the service from Bowen was awesome and it only took about a month and a half.

The month and a half turn around time is just flat outstanding. Nice looking gun there too; I like the tritium front sight.

You should had Bowen do a pair for you with twins coming.

I've had a couple and can't say I cared for them. Just replaced the FO front/V rear on a S&W357PD with a set of Meprolight night sights and it is much easier to get a consistent sight alignment and good sight picture...
