Was fondling a Lipsey's special shopkeeper Bearcat today at the gun counter.

To my surprise the birds-heads grip felt better than the regular bearcat's grip.


My question is, Has anyone tried to eject empties out of one? Due to the shorter barrel the ejector rod does not seem to extend very far out the back of the cylinder. It definitely is a lot shorter than the standard Bobcat.

The ERH does not eject the shell all the way. But a quick short stroke will toss out some.

Not sure its a deal breaker, the gun just really appeals to me, so I'll sleep on it a few days and see if I choose it over the standard bearcat.

That's why I have both.

I shoot a lot of CB caps through my Super Bearcat, good for training the youngsters, and quiet too. I also use .22 Shorts, they have short brass and would eject out of the Shopkeeper just fine.
