My bride of 32 years, as of today, got a cute little stuffed puppy with a balloon tied to its ear, flowers and candy.

It's a bit of a joke, our JRT got hold of a skunk last night. Momma had to try to bathe the odor off of him today while I was at work. Happy Anniversary! I was demonstrating that he could be replaced.

I might try the blued steel and black plastic thing someday, but I scarcely believe she would actually believe it were intended for her, in spite of the fact my intentions were pure.

We looked at that model a couple months ago while I was helping my daughter shop for a Christmas present. I thought it looked like a pretty handy carry piece at the time.

Anyway, Momma just walked into the room and saw Scott's photos on the screen. She said "I'd shoot that. I like that a lot better than your revolvers."

Color me totally shocked!

Was she looking at pics of the pistol or pics of me?
Posted By: CrimsonTide Re: Valentine's Day - 02/14/15
I got one of those as a Christmas present. I gotta say, I really like it. It is a very soft shooting pistol and shows excellent accuracy. I swore off the 380 back around the turn of the century, when we traded in our PPk/s backup guns, but this little gem is a horse of a different color.

You did good, Scott. I believe she'll be pleased with that, and if you aren't careful, you'll be looking for one for yourself.

I got a Brownell's e-ad this morning that said it was for Valentine's Day. My wife didn't see ANYTHING in it she remotely wanted (Really, neither did I)

I have been wanting one of those.

Hell, I don't care where she gains an appetite, as long as she takes her meals at home.

Wouldn't be the first time...

Actually, this time she was just looking at the Glock. Which is almost as surprising to me than if it had been the other possibility mentioned.
