After seeing JWP475's convertible Redhawk, I've just been all hot and bothered to build one up. I'd probably do a .41 mag / .45 Colt.
I also have a 4" Python barrel in my parts bin that's just begging for a frame to mount it on. I want to put it on a Mk III Trooper frame because there's no markings on the frame...Then I can try to convince people Colt made a Mk III Trooper
And there's two .22's I'd still love to have.
1- Colt Officers Match
2 - S&W M18 Combat Masterpiece
Always got a little weak in the knees in the presence of either of those two revolvers.
And I still have a CZ P07 on my radar, especially after I recently received my HBE Com III for a P07...Now I need to fill that holster.
So what handguns do you have a hankerin for?
Colt Peacemaker 22
A S&W 41.
An good shooting, engraved SA 45 Colt.. my own Ruger NV be fine.
A 480 Bisley

Do you mean like a S&W 18-2?
I would like to have another S&W model 41. It's been a while since I owned one. So long that I bought and sold the last one for under $400.
I would like to have a H&K P-7... Real Walther PPK,not a S&W...Possibly an Ed Brown LW kobra Carry.
Ruger Bisley in .480
S&W Model 66 with a 3" barrel
S&W Model 29 with a 5" barrel
Shadow with the short dust cover tricked out.
You guys are instigators just posting this.
S&W Model 18 sounds good.
S&W Model 66 3" sounds good too.
Nice S&W 629-4 4" with original grips would be nice.
I'd be lying if I didn't include 629-4 3"
Ruger Speed Six 3" 357 Mag also hard to find and pricey.
I try not to think about things like this. Just get's me in trouble.
SW 66 no dash P&R, 4 inch
Colt 1911 or Springfield.
Well, it's been a lot of years since I read about the Mag-Na-Port "Predator" conversion of the Super Blackhawk, but I wanted one without the Mag-Na-Porting and the barrel left at 5" (even with the end of the ejector rod housing from the 10 1/2" model) so it would be legal for deer hunting in Ohio... but now I'd be happy with the new factory .480.
Also would love to have an American Derringer 45/70 over/under just because. I saw one once, used, at a gun show in Louisville for $350. Kick myself for not snatching it then.
Probably another scandium S & W .357. Probably the 342 this time. Used to have two 360's, one with the short barrel, one with the 3" adjustable sight model. Ridiculous recoil with the magnums, only mildly painful with hot .38's, but having options is nice.

I've got at least one of all those. Well, close, anyway. My 66 has a 2.5" barrel, and my S&W forty-fours are both Twenty-Nines, not stainless. I do have precisely the Ruger Speed Six you refer to, but in stainless. Not sure if you were thinking of the blued or stainless version.
Correction: I've learned that the three inch Speed Six is a rare variant. I have the more standard length snubby Speed Six. Looks like you like the rare variants of these guns.
Dammit I forgot one. An Astra Terminator in 45 Colt.
A sig legion 226
A ruger mk2 target
657 mountain gun
Ruger Bosley 45 colt

Ruger Bosley 45 colt
I bought the Sig legion 226 about 5 months ago. Fine shooting pistol.
S & W Mod. 41 to replace the one I should have never sold way back in 1975. Back when I was a lot younger, dumber, and broker.
Just one: a good .38-44 Heavy Duty.
S&W 696 3", about to build a 4 5/8" 500 JRH Bisley. Any S&W model 10, 64, 67, or 65. You simply can't have enough of them and I have handfuls.
Actually, I just bought it- a S&W model 15-1, K-38 Combat Masterpiece. Serial number gives it a Born on Date of 1960. Looks essentially new, just the slightest turn line. The story is that it was purchased by the previous owners brother, passed to him, and was stored for the last 20 years unfired. LGS had it in the case, they cater to the tactical crowd. It was priced more than fairly so I just paid his asking price. Besides, it doesn't really matter if I "bought a little early"- it isn't going anywhere. I didn't really need it since I have both a 13-3 and a 19-3, but you asked about WANT...
I have made a deal today for a .401 Herters Power Mag. Swapped two days ago for a Uberti .45 Colt. Last week I bought a 50th Anniversary .44 magnum Ruger Blackhawk. Gonna be caught up pretty soon.
Probably a Nighthawk 10mm.
And a Redhawk customized by Bowen, with a S&W full-lug style barrel, 5 inch in .475 LInebaugh

The technical term is "enabler"

Ok, you are that too.
Dammit I forgot one. An Astra Terminator in 45 Colt.
Oh man, now there's a man of discerning taste. Last time I saw a Terminator was back in the '80's, and it wasn't a .45 Colt. I'm with you, that would be an uber cool revolver to own. That's the gun that started the trend of the John Jovino's and eventually the Lee Horton N frame S&W's.
Shot a friend's Nighthawk T3 a couple weeks back. My oh my...
It's in the category of "just want".
GunGeek: I have owned two of these in the distant past and foolishly sold them for a pittance of a profit!
I want to buy a minty condition Smith & Wesson Model 53 revolver (caliber 22 Remington Jet!) with an 8 3/8" barrel!
Hold into the wind
VarmintGuy
-SIG P210
-Kreighoff Luftwaffe Luger in pristine condition
-NIB Browning High Power T-series Renaissance from '66 or '67
-New, with box and paperwork S&W .357 Registered Magnum w/6" barrel, McGivern bead front/square notch rear and hump-back hammer
-Colt pre-war Government National Match .45, in minty condition
Bob
Just one: a good .38-44 Heavy Duty.
I have one, great backpacking gun. I would like a 629 Mountain Gun as well.
I really WANT a Pardini GT 9...
It's on my list
I lied. Reading thru this I realized I want a registered .357 and a model 53 with all the gizmos as well as a .38-44 Heavy Duty.
S&W 617 with 6" barrel. memtb
[quote=tex_n_cal]Probably a Nighthawk 10mm.
+1000 on the NH 10mm, and Whitworths 500 Magnum.
Damn that's a fine looking revolver!
1. Ruger New Model SS Flattop Convertible in .357/9mm. It would need
an alloy frame, Bisley style hammer and 5.5" barrel.
2. Ruger New Model SS Flattop Convertible in .45 Colt/ ACP. It would need
an alloy frame, Bisley style hammer and 5.5" barrel.
3. S&W 4" nickel .44 Special with brass insert sights and ivory type grips. My last Jiu Jitsu instructor has it. My idea of a real BBQ gun.
4. Colt 6" Woodsman.
5. Ruger LW Commander in .45 ACP.
Ruger Super Blackhawk Hunter Bisley in .480....
(Yeah, I 'told the CEO')
I'd love to have a Remington 51 and a S&W 686 CS-1 3".
S&W M329PD
S&W M629-4 6"
Browning HiPower 9mm
I really can't think of one that I want.
I have to say I honestly never heard of the Pardini pistols. I just googled them, wow. They are some spendy SOBs
use that python barrel on a model 19 s&w for a Smython
3 CZ P07 9mm pistols all set up exactly the same using parts from CGW.
A S&W Model 60-4. Fun for me and great for teaching revolver and handloading to the kids.
These are some fine pistols. I'll have one before the years out.
Yes. Like that one, satan...
what kind of grips? They look good, fm.
