Some of you might remember jimmyd123 from here. He doesn't post anymore, because he lost his eyesight. He's legally blind. He can still make out basic shapes and even likes to shoot at our local indoor range. He doesn't hit much, but that makes me feel better about my own shooting so I like him as a shooting partner very much!

Today we hit the local Denny's and went to the range with another buddy of ours. Nothing to report really. We shot our Bisleys mostly.

While my one-handed shooting is marginal with my "good" hand, it's on the verge of comical with my left hand. But, I still like to fire off 12 45 Colt rounds as fast as my thumbs can drag hammers. Our range has no heat, so I only look like I weigh 300lbs due to all my layers. Really!

We like switching out the cylinders and shooting .45 ACP without the need for moon clips.

Our range maxes out at 50 feet. Here's a 2-handed target of mine.

It was a nice morning. Pancake, bacon, egg, and hashbrown burps as we burned through a fair amount of ammo. Not a bad way to start the day!

Way to go waders !
Looks like a fun time! Hard to beat the Bisleys.
That does not look like 300. A good solid 200 or so. grin

226!

I was 240.4 lbs on a Nov 28th doctor appointment. I almost died. Since then, I've been working on shedding some pounds. When I get to 218 I'll ease up. My clothes fit good now, but they fit great when I'm sub-220. smile
Great stuff Waders. If there's anything better than dual wielding 45 Colts, it's probably illegal.
Looks like fun
That's just deplorable, lol, keep it up.
Fun times! Love those Bisleys!

Nice! Looks like a great day!

I hear you. But...Jimmy's suppressed MKII with sub-sonic ammunition just might be the answer to that dilemma. Shooting it without hearing protection really puts a smile on your face, as the loudest noises you hear are the rounds hitting the steel backstop downrange. It kinda goes *blap...ting!* *blap...ting!*

Dual 45 Colts to suppressed .22's - opposite ends of the spectrum, and both are a hoot!
