Posted By: Ole_270 Which holster for a Sig 1911? - 05/24/17
Just got a Sig 1911 Stainless Target and in need of a holster. Off the rack holsters don't fit well because Sig uses a more squared off top profile than the traditional large radius.
Looking for OWB, and leather. I'm not doing concealed carry, especially with this 5" gun, just something for doing chores, woods loafing, ect. I have no experience with this stuff, but thinking Pancake and possible crossdraw.
What do you recommend?
I like the Simply Rugged (below) and the Milt Sparks 55BN

Which model is that?
It's the Cuda

Thanks, I thought it was but didn't see the exotic inlay option
That was something that I special ordered. Standard is just leather, but if there is something that you want done that is different from what is on the website options, all you have to do is email Rob and tell him what you want. He'll email you back a quote for the special work.
Use any "holster finder" on any manufacturer website and you will find plenty of options for Sig 1911
Take a look at warbird leather...
I have a convertible IWB/OWB leather with Elephant trim holster by Warbird leather for my Sig 1911 10mm Tacops
