Found a NRA rated Very good condition Smith & Wesson Model 13-2 4 inch round butt. Haven't seen one in at least a decade. They want $360 OTD.



I think it is a great deal but I have not seen anything comparable much less available.

Sounds like a pretty good price for any .357 K-Frame, let alone something of an oddball version.

Under $400 for a pre-lock S&W is a good deal these days.

Purdy much any revolver these days from a reputable maker that you can get for less than 400 dollars is a deal. Barring that it isn't out of time, rusted shut.....

Well an update is in order.


The 13 is a pinned barrel, square butt Pre-1982 model with some honest holster wear and a small spot of freckling on the s&w trademark. No back strap cutting, no forcing cone issues and solid lockup.
I seriously had a panic attack when I saw it. It was $399 but the shop was having an xmas sale so I do believe they wanted to wheel and deal. Hell, Plain Jane HB Model 10's are going for that price around here.

Another orphan for the orphanage. Couldn't be happier.
