What are you guys getting, what model and ammo?
I have a 4.25 inch in 9mm and 40. My 2.0 9mm is more accurate than my 1.0 9mm by a good margin. None of it makes a difference inside 15 yards. At 25 yards, the 2.0 holds a tighter group. Groups fired standing with no rest at 25 yards hover around 4 to 5 inches with the 2.0. Oddly enough, the 40 seems to shoot better than either generation of m&p9. I can generally shoot 3-4 inch groups at 25 yards with the 40.
In other words, I shoot an M&P40 2.0 as well as a G17. I shoot an M&P9 2.0 about as well as a G22. And none of those as well as a P226.
How’s the Sig shooting.
Any preference seen in ammo with your 2.0 - 9?
The 226 is super consistant. I feel like I dont have as many “fliers” with it. Its the kind of gun you can bore a hole in the target and just keep shooting through the hole. If I had to make a critical shot with any handgun, the 226 would bring me the most confidence.
Ive shot 115gr FMJ (Speer Lawman), 124gr FMJ (Federal AE), 124gr Federal HST, and 147gr HST through the M&P9 2.0. It doesn’t seem to show any real preference. But, I’ve never shot it rested on anything. I have put several thousand rounds through it and nothing really jumped out at me, good or bad. It cycles everything very well. Ejection was more consistent than my last few Glocks.
My 2.0 Compact is a bit more accurate than my Gen 4 G19. I prefer the S&W over the Glock. I shot a CZ P10C over the weekend and didn't care for it at all. It was accurate enough but felt really "cheap" to me. Supposed to be a really good handgun, but I disliked the look and feel of the thing.
124 HSTs and very accurate. I don't measure my groups with my pistols; but, I am extremely happy with all of my M&P 2.0s.
I like my M&P9 2.0 Compact. It is at least as accurate in my hands as my original full size M&P9 and my Glock 19 gen4. I shoot 124 gr. HST’s.
