Bought this today. No range report yet.

It's suppressor ready, but this one does not have the suppressor.

Suppose to be nice pistols.

Until the suppressor stuff becomes over the counter, I won't be buying one.

I like it.

Range Report.

The gun pictured is only slightly larger in profile than the Springfield XD-S so this should give you an idea of its size. It looks larger than it is in person. The accuracy was very satisfying. It showed no preference between 124 or 115 grain projectiles either for accuracy or point of impact vs point of aim.

All shooting at 15 yards unsupported. All shooting was done with no warm-up, other than a little dry firing before going to the range.

Monarch 124 grain JHP single action only for 5 rounds = 2.5" perfectly centered at point of aim.

WW White box 115 grain FMJ single action only for 16 rounds = 4" perfectly centered at point of aim, with three shots out of group, and the remainder into 1.5" ragged hole.

WW White box 115 grain FMJ single action only for 5 rounds at a 1" circle bulls eye yielded a 1.75" group centered to point of aim.

WW White box 115 grain FMJ "double Action" for each shot at a 1" circle bulls eye yielded a 2.5 inch group centered to point of aim.

The gun is a shooter... It may become my favorite carry piece, except to the states that don't allow threaded barrels.

That's impossible, those bullets should be stringing left/right in windage...try again smile

What is it Dan? I don't recognize it.

Looks like a P-07.

I've been very tempted. Lots at the gun shows lately.

It's a CZ P01 Omega - "Urban Gray."

It's actually a pretty compact pistol and looks larger in the photo than it does in the hand. It really isn't much larger than the profile of a Springfield XD-S and only a bit wider. So it's easily a great concealed choice.

Alloy frame. Weight wise it's similar to my Springfield XD Mod 2 Subcompact .45 acp with 10 rounds of .45 loaded. This one will carry 17 rounds of 9mm.

I've started carrying it around to get a feel for it. It's ever-so-slightly narrower than the XD-Mod 2 but the difference is definitely noticeable on the hip. It's a more comfortable package.

The "Suppressor" sights are a tiny turn-off for me, but when you're looking into them from behind, it doesn't matter a bit. They are very visible and precise. The targets are impressive at 15 yards...

If you lived closer, I'd let you wring it out. It's a shooter. What is most surprising is the feeling you are shooting a target .22! The recoil is that light! Almost zero muzzle flip. The single action trigger is so sweet, it reminds me of my Gold Cup. When the sights are aligned, it just wants to go off! Easy to call your shots.

Those are nice pistolas!

I've been eyeballing that one or the P07 myself. I'm leaning toward that model just because I like metal more than plastic.

The frame is alloy, but is't forged instead of cast. Supposedly harder than cast alloy. Time will tell. I don't wear my guns out anymore. My days of 500 rounds a week are long gone...

Since you are not going to use a suppressor on it, why did you choose that model over the Shadow 2, other than maybe the size?

You obviously did your homework so I'm sure you have a reason or 2.

I also have a Commander with rail and threaded barrel in sandbox color. I like the look.

But I didn't say I'd "never" get a suppressor. I said, until the suppressor stuff becomes an over the counter item...

These guns are like unicorns. They get bought up as soon as they hit the shelves. Both the P-01 and SP-01 in "Urban Gray" are superb shooters. I can live with the fact it has a threaded barrel without a 2 foot can on the end.
