Would you purchase a CA pistol if you didn't have to in your state? Found a good deal on a Springfield Armory but don't like the idea of complying and don't like the idea of a micro stamp on the breech face and firing pin.

How about you?
No, the state of california has found that they cause cancer.

Nope.

Doesn't seem like either of those would necessarily be permanent?
Aren't Gen 3 Glocks California approved, so long as they come with ten round mags? I guess I once bought a California approved Kel-Tec Sub 2000, because it came with a Glock 17 length magazine that could only hold ten rounds. A real Glock mag.
If the California 'micro stamp' don't hurt the gun - It don't hurt me.
Buy it and polish it off!
It appears that your gun probably doesn't have microstamping. It's only for "new" models and older models are grandfathered. That's why Glock never tried to get the Gen 4 certified.
The last pistol I bought has both a 16 round capacity and a threaded barrel... Both illegal in California. So, it's unlikely I could be enticed to purchase anything california legal.
Fahq Kommiefornia. Fahq their approved gun list, and most of all fahq their gas jugs that I make a point to butcher into something useful.
