Looking for an owb to carry when I’m out in the yard, deer lease, etc.

Not those huge tactical type. Lo pro. Anyone use a leather / kydex white hat holster microslide?

I’m left handed, so i I’d rather clips instead of belt loops so i don’t have to take belt almost off to put holster on.

How’s the solid leather slide holsters do for reholstering? Does the kydex shell help for it?

It’ll be for either kahr cw9 or sig365.

Dave.

I have one of these for my G26 and PPK, they are high ride so conceal easily.

If it was me instead of clips that I don’t trust, I would go with this.

Highly recommend the Pro Carry HD Pack with slide extension.
Thanks! I’ll check those out.
I'm a lefty as well, and I use the Wilderness Safepacker (link below). When I'm out in the woods, or doing yard work, I can access my firearm about as quickly as any holster out there, but not an ounce of brush, dust, debris, light rain gets on my gun! I can (and have) rolled in the dirt with them and my firearm stays clean, nothing can touch the trigger and it will never fall out. What I really love about them though, is that it's not only a holster, it's an awesome carrying case too. I have four of them for different pieces, and those firearms simply live in them. From the safe to the field, from the field to the truck, from the truck to the closet - etc., etc., they never have to come out of the Safepacker. They are not the cheapest option, but you buy them once and you're done. Oh, and they're designed so you don't have to take off your belt to put them on/take them off.

Good idea. I hate having to clean my barrel of snow when I tumble down a snow slope!
That’s a good idea. Lil more than i need.

How bulky is it?

I leaning towards that white hat model. With the leather stitching I’m guessing it is backed/ doubled. Other makers just use single layer of leather.

DeSantis or Galco. How anyone can tolerant those pinching Kydex holsters is beyond me.
Ended up with a Braids Holster brand holster.

Well made. Prolly get another for the XL.
I’ve had good luck with Fury Concealment holsters. I use them for competition and occasionally for wilderness carry.
Here’s a good out in the yard holster.

Winthrop. Made in USA. $16 on eBay.

I heat it up with warm water. Put gun in ziplock. Gun in holster and then vacuum pack it. Leave over night. Fits like a glove.
