Looks like I will be bringing a Super Redhawk home in the next few days. Will be ordering dies, brass and bullets. Taking a look at Montana Bullet Works and noticed that you can order bullets in .475 or .476" . Anybody got an idea which is the one I need?

Patrick has one so maybe he can measure his if he owns throat gauges. I have a full set of gauges and would be happy to send a few your way, use them and send them back when done.
Thank you for the offer, Ed. It may come to that, and if it does, I will take you up on it.
I'm starting to feel like everybody has a .480 except me.

.476.

You won't regret Montana Bullet Works products.
Sheriff, Thanks!

'Flave, get the lead out.

The .480 is awesome. Hard cast 400 gr WFN at 900-1000 FPS is a very recoil friendly hunting load that will go through both shoulders of large Florida hogs with no problem

When yous haves the 9MM Miraculous Farce you dont need anything elses. Youum haves everything yous needs for Chipmunk to Elephant.
Whens yous haves the Miraculous Farce yous haves a place in the Anal of life. That means yous has be anal-ated. May the analasation be wits yous.

Seems like every residential neighborhood in Southern Florida has a pond with alligators and big ass snakes on the perimeter... short barreled .480 could be handy.

.44 would probably be sufficient.

Yep and yep. I've settled on their 375 LBT as my every day load. I do have their 400 running at 1200 under a healthy dose of H110 in the event cloning T-Rex becomes fashionable.
