Picked up a Marlin 25N today - 09/23/21
I picked up a Marlin 25N at my LGS today. I wasn't really in the market for a .22 rimfire but I have a 1998 vintage Marlin 25MN .22WMR and I thought this would make a nice match to it.
Came complete with a Tasco Pronghorn 3X9 scope.
Date code in serial number dates this one as 1999 vintage.
Doesn't look like the gun was used very much, not a scratch or mark on it, no bluing wear, nothing. A look with the borescope does show carbon in the barrel, but sharp clean rifling. I'm out of JB Borepaste and can't find it anywhere, so bringing the barrel down to bare steel and Dyna Bore coating it will have to wait.
Overall a very nice .22, especially for it's age.
