Got all my stuff today, bolted it up.

Has a lot of rocking front to back, rear “tang” is nowhere near making contact with the shelf.

Do most bed these? I was under the impression that most people just bolted em together.

There’s an anchor block adaptor offered by victor for the KIDD actions…I assume this is what you may be missing?

That's one of the reasons I didn't buy a Titan and went with the magpul X-22 stock. There were some bad reviews about the Titan stock, while the Magpul was a top choice of last year (2021). Good luck with it. I'm sure it can be fixed with bedding or something. A little trick that is quick and stable, that I've used with Savage plastic stocks, is quick steel or JB steel stick. That will easily get the "rock" out of it..

I have the Kidd anchor from Titan.

So, removed trigger and placed back in the stock.

It appears the bottom of the rear anchor is making contact, just not the bottom of the lip on the rear.

I’m guessing this will be 2 pretty solid anchor points as is, but will bed it anyway, can’t hurt.

I’m going to shoot it before though, just out of curiosity.

That screw on the rear anchor should help take the rocking out.

I haven't bedded mine, but I can't see that hurting anything at all.

This is torqued down. Figure it’s probably putting some stress on the action.



Can still rock it if I push hard enough. Looks to me like the anchor has the hole to attach to the Kidd drilled a hair low.



Victor says this is normal on Kidd builds, and that the rear anchor is designed to put tension on the receiver. I was think more along the lines of 2 anchor points to remove and stress of tension on the receiver….

Will see what shakes out this weekend and go from there. Not sweating it.

I'll throw mine in the vehicle Saturday, although mine doesn't have the rear anchor.

Sorry to hear you are having issues. I see why you went with that stock. It was basically made for the Kidd rear anchor. Seems like they would be a little more helpful, if you have issues. Keep us posted on their fix, or if you have to fix it yourself and what steps you take to get it done. That would be frustrating, as you can't just go out and play with your new rifle with that kind of stuff going on with it.

Might grab a decent laminate and the Kidd rear tang and inlet/bed into that sometime soon. Weight doesn’t matter one bit in this one.

I thought a semi would have been fun in the silhouette games, but probably shoulda just grabbed another CZ!

Edit: It was easy to tell by the first email that they had no intention of helping. Figured as much by reviews I’ve read. Once again, no big deal. Easy fix with a dremel and a little devcon.
