I finally got a 20" .22 LR T1XX several months ago. It shoots great and has a smooth action however, when shooting off a bench and cycling the bolt in a slower more deliberate manner, the spent case is extracted but seems to be barely ejected and will sometimes fall back into the action and jamb things up. Has anyone had similar issues and suggestions for improvements would be appreciated. Cheers
Contact Beretta (Tikka) and they will likely send you a new magazine box, ejector. Or if you want to play with it yourself there were some posts on rimfirecentral.com about reshaping the ejector spring for a more forceful ejection.
I did see a post recently that said that recent T1x models have a blade type ejector, if yours had the blade type then the simple answer it to be a bit more forceful with bolt retraction since that is what controls ejection force on that system.

I'm waiting for Tikka to get all the bugs worked out..
I have one of the new T1X with the new ejector, seems to eject fine, doesnt throw them very far but gets them out of the action everytime with CCI and S-K & Lapua
If it ejects properly when you work the bolt more briskly, you have your answer: don’t baby it. If not, then you may have an issue.
This reminds me of folks who work their CFs, mostly lever-actions, like they’re made of glass, but complain about poor function. They’re designed to work under some force.

Is that magwell housing where the ejector lives plastic? As you no doubt know, the CZs have a plastic one, but DIP makes an aluminum one that if nothing else, makes me feel better.
