I have a bunch of 10/22 parts, all OE stuff, barrels, stocks, trigger parts that I want to sell but no idea how much to ask. If anyone has an idea I would appreciate the help!
Check out ebay too. I've sold barrels and stocks there. I do it right after I replace factory parts though, to recoup the money I spent on the Kidd barrel or new stock. Good way to do a cheap build with good parts.
S&P outfitters sells a lot of takeoff 10/22 parts, new take offs. It will give you an idea of what the new stuff is going for atleast compared to your used parts.
Plain jane birch stocks, plastic stocks, used, usually between 35-50 bucks depending on condition. barrells....35-50. Threaded barrels bring more of course.
Good deal man. That's how you do it. When I sold off my factory stock and barrel, I felt guilty. They sold for more than I thought they would, but at the time they were demanding big money. I don't know why? The factory stainless barrel sold for almost as much as I paid for a Green Mountain barrel and the stock for $75, if I remember correctly. That helped immensely. The magpul stock I bought cost me $120.. The Kidd barrel cost $274, so the $100 I got for the factory take off helped big time. The way I see it is that is $50 for the new stock and $174 for the new barrel, but big time upgrades.. Remember: condition will set the value. What I sold was from a late 90's stainless synthetic rifle. They were damn near perfect/like new.
Yeah, when things got crazy I put a metal trigger group on ebay, joker sold for 175!
Man, you did well, and I believe it!!!! I'm hanging on to mine though.. I paid $250 for my rifle last year. It was a great buy, but looks and shoots much different now. Still don't have more than $500 into it though:
That sob is a tack driver. Great rifles.. Saw some older ones today in the $250-$325 price range.
I have just started gathering parts for building a 10/22 I am looking for a barrel, receiver, bolt, & a stock. Would you have anything like that to sell? Thanks
