Was watching an Ozzie Reviews on the Australia-specific CZ515 Lever Release .22 mag rifle, a “crippled” semi-auto for their unique situation. Went to the USA website, and found the whole line of semi rimfires has gone away.
Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about one. Best get hoppin’!
I bought this one last summer near the place in north Idaho and just mounted the scope a week or so ago. Hope to shoot it Friday.
I watched a couple of Ozzie’s .22 Mag reviews. Both rifles did very well with at least one ammo choice at 50 yards, though the groups fell off a touch at 100. Ammo must be improving, or maybe chambers are tighter. My Hornet still eats their lunch, but they look perfectly satisfactory. I might consider a barrel for my 457 at some point, though ammo is about as spendy as cheap .223.
Let us know how how it goes.
Will do though mine is not a magnum which is why I bought it. That said, I do have a BRNO ZKM 611 that is pretty accurate with stuff it likes.
You dangled that one in front of me not long ago, dammit!😜
Was in my LGS today, picking up a check for a consignment sale, and I can honestly say not a damn thing even caused a tingle in my nether regions, certainly no nice rimfires. That check went straight into the bank. Just as well, I’ve got a too many unfinished gun projects as it is.
