Anyone handled one of these remakes on the old winchester? I saw one yesterday at the gun shop and it seems like a neat little rifle, Price was $249.

Any opinions?

They chamber it in .17HMR and I will be a player!

T Lee,

If you go to their WEB site, I believe they do have it in .17. I however am not sure I want tose pointy little cartridges stacked nose to primer in a tubular magazine

Just a thought

Not a problem, the primer in a rimfire is in the rim edges, not the center where the bullet from the round behind would be touching! Are they really available in .17 HMR? If so they join a small breed of rifles available, the .17 autoloaders.

Phil,

You are absolutely right what was I thinking!!! I checked and they only have this model in .22LR and .22 Mag, however the pump models are offered in .17HMR.

That is why I hold out hope for a .17HMR in the 63!
