I was feeling less than confident with the zero on the UltraLux due to my poor showing in the last 50/25 Silhouette Match in O Class. So, I opened the last brick of Camp Perry purchased Eley Sport and headed to the range this afternoon. I feel better now after those last two 50 yard groups. I was pleased with the open sight group size as well. I should be able to rest the post on a pigs belly and take it out now. That is a big "should" though .

I agree, nice shooting. It's nice to see the results folks are capable of making with open sights. I actually prefer open sights over most other setups, though I shoot them all.

Still, something special about getting good results with the irons.
