Savage 93, stainless, heavy barrel, laminated thumbhole stock.

Might be a few weeks until I shoot it. I'm thinking of a 4-14 power scope.

Any comments on these gun?

I had about the same gun, mine didn't have the thumbhole stock. Great shooter it was too, would put out MOA groups at 100yds with boring regularity. I had a 4x12x40mm on mine and found it to have plenty of power for target work or hunting.

My neighbor has one and its a shooter. All I had to do was convince him to get a better scope than the BSA he had and now is a real HAPPY SHOOTER
