I just picked up one of these little rifles with a half hex half round barell. It looks brand new and I paid $125.00 for it, can't hardly wait to shoot it. I have read some bad things about the trigger being really heavy, anybody out there got any comments on this little rifle? How accurate is it? What ammo have you all found to shoot the most accuartely?

You need to ask the rifle what it likes to shoot. It's the only one that knows.
I've got a stevens favorite that I bough for my grandson to learn with.
Sure is a fun little rifle! seems to do it's best with W-W PowerPoint ammo. 5 into about 5/8" at 30 yds. (with a scope)
'course every rifle is an individual...never know what your rifle will like untill you try a bunch of different brands. But that's half the fun!

The triggers are a bit stiff, but a decent 'smith can fix that with some judicious stoning. My examples are very accurate with optics as well as conventional sights. open sights give me minute of tree rat out to nigh onto 50 yards, can pop soda cans all day long at that range. I love the little guns, I have them in .22, .17HMR and .17 MACHII.
