Home
was found amongst my Uncle's estate.

turns out this venerable 22 Bolt action may have been the same rifle my dad, as a kid, was busted with for hunting squirrels out of season or some such nonsense back in the early 50's.

It is clip fed, and the floor plate, and trigger guard are messed up (the trigger guard actually appears to be a piece of hammered flat copper tube).

Would like to restore it to the condition it was back in his criminal years, so I can return it to him.

Who was the manufacturer of this gun so I can start looking for replacement parts.

I understand they got it mail order from Sears, back in the day.
I believe that rifle was made by Marlin.
According to the Hoosier Gunworks cross reference chart:

Sears 103.2 Marlin 80
