Oh man, that's gonna be purty! We'll need after pictures at some point in the future.
This is the prototype Remington 24X scope from the Remington Custom Shop made in the middle 70s. It will go on my Turtle shooter.

Should be exquisite.
Thanks guys,
I hope that I will have it before years end. Kobe does very very good work, but doesn't sit on his butt. He is a worker.

Beautiful piece of wood. At first I thought maybe it would look better with the stock pattern shifted up a bit toward the top of the blank, but there really isn't a bad spot in that entire blank. Can't wait to see pics of it cut to shape. Should really shine with finish on it.

Hey Butch, did you ever get this rifle done?
The metal is out to Turnbull's and the barrel being SS is out for melonite. I hope the metal finish matches.

Pictures do not do the wood justice.

I believe it was $700 USD. Dollar exchange has been good lately with Australia. Remember that Roger's website list price in Aussir dollars.
1 USD =1.35264 today's rate

I only asked because I had looked Roger's sight over several times and due to the size of the pics it was hard for to get a good handle on what such higher grade blanks cost..

T'was certainly worth what you paid..Looks like it will be a great build.
