Anyone here putting one of these .22LR or .22Mag version to the test? I don't care that it is "ugly" I want a lightweight but accurate revolver.
Heard the triggers are heavy, can they be "smoothed" or "lightened" with some good smithing?
Is it shootable?

This weight revolver in a IWB kydex would be the bees knees for popping small game while woods rambling.

Double action pull is often heavy in rimfires by necessity for positive ignition. Especially if it has a lightweight hammer.

Known fact. I am interested in info from those who are giving this specific revolver a shakedown.

It also looks like a perfect trapping dispatch revolver. Looking forward to actual observations.

I was all set to buy the mag.............buddy says he read they are about like the .22 lr shooting Stingers.
.22 mag version holds 6..............the .22 lr version holds 8.
If that's the case (find out where he read it)...........might as well go .22LR.

Indeed, trapline gun is what I'm thinking.
But then I want one of those little Bearcat's from Lipsy's w adjustable sights too.

smile

BTW, the guns do look a little "better" with the teardrop grip swapped to the fingergroove. IMHO.

I've got the 22lr version. It's surprisingly accurate if you do your part.
Trigger is heavy but manageable.
All you gain gy going 22 mag with a 2 inch barrel is more noise and blast

LCR x has 3" bbl IIRC.

22 Mag in a handgun is unbelievably loud.
Think center fire type loud.

My first handgun was a 5 1/2" Ruger .22 mag old model.
Popped a few chucks with it.
Little fireball smile

I got a 3" 22lr LCRx today. I havn't shot it yet but so Farm im impressed with the fit and finish. I got this to be a walkig around, hiking, plinking, trapline gun and Im sure it will be excellent for that.

It should be fine for that. Thinking of getting one myself. Hoping you get more responses. I've got one in 38 special.

I put about 200 rounds through mine today, just shooting junk, not targets. It was a lot of fun, Im really glad I got this gun. I personally dont find the DA pullto be so bad, maybe I got a good one.

I've wanted a 22lr revolver for years but never really found one that I was willing to part with the $$$ for, the smith and wesson 317 was always pricey to me at 700 bucks and every time I held one, I thought they felt cheap, The timing was perfect for this one, my dad is a huge LCR fan and uses a 38spcl as his EDC, he actually has several LCRs but no LCRx.

I asked to handle it at sportsmans warehouse and knew it was coming home with me. It will be perfect for its intended use.
