Picking one up tomorrow. Who has one? Accuracy? Feeding? Love it/hate it?

I love the damn thing. Pissed my brother off so much he had to buy one, too.

Finally got mine scoped on a rail and shot it this weekend. Shot both the A-17 ammo and regular Hornady ammo into very small groups with the regular ammo slightly higher on the same target than the faster A-17 ammo. Both quite accurate and smooth to operate. Sweet rig but similar accuracy to my old cheaper Savage 93. Certainly easier to operate and better looking to my eye than the Savage though.

Ordered a rail tonight, hope it comes Friday. Shot a few rounds through it suppressed to see what's what. Nice little crack. Gonna be a pleasure to shoot without plugs. Going to mount a SWFA 3-9x.

I back ordered a Tikka 13 months ago. During the wait, I got a good deal on a stainless 455 and I shot it some while waiting for the TX1. I had decided early on whichever one shot better would be kept and the other one would find a new home. It was close but the Tikka is now resting comfortably in the safe anxiously waiting for a workout next week at prairie dog central.

yep, i bought a 455 stainless american in .22lr and a stainless 17hmr barrel that will be sent off to jim pixley for chopping to 16.5" and threading. don't know how long cz will produce the stainless barrels unless they come out with a 457 in stainless.

Sighted in my wifes T1. Shoots pretty good but that sucker is noticeably louder than my old 17 which had a longer barrel. Feeding is ok, several times had to remove the mag and reinsert it to get the top round to feed. Might be my loading technique. Ejection is strong.
Good rifle, good trigger, more accurate than I am. If it was about 1 pound heavier it would be easier to shoot more accurately.
Can't please everyone. In the end, thumbs up and worth the money.
