Gents, I'm considering selling my Marlin 922M. The rifle is in great condition with an above-average stock. Has a cheap scope that won't add to the value. I've seen a pretty big swing in prices on these so I'd like your input on a sale price.

How well does it function? Lots of folks have dipped their toes in the .22 mag auto business and flopped.

I have never seen a Marlin 922M in the flesh, that is nice looking stock on your rifle. Once I think about it I have never seen an original Ruger 10/22 magnum either, only rebarreled 17HMRs

Pappy 348 I have a 922M that has been reliable in the 15 years I've had it. Using CCI 40 gr. soft point ammo it works great on called coyotes. It shoots 1 inch groups at 100 yards. Marlin makes good rifles in my experience.
The OP's sure looks pretty nice.
Gents, I forgot about this thread so my apologies. I'll try to find time this weekend to run some rounds through it to confirm all is well.
Ok, so ittook waaaay longer than it should have to go shoot it. I ran 50 rounds of 40 grain Winchester through it today without a single malfunction of any kind. The cheap Bushnell scope on it is not impressive. You'll be shocked by this, but the clicks did not match the actual movement. Still, after lots of twisting and tapping I got it pretty close, but I only had 25 yards to work with, and I wasn't shooting for a group anyway. If I keep it I'll dump the scope and shoot open sites, but a potential buyer may want it. Still appreciate any input on suggested sale price.
