What dovetail scope rings do you recommend for an Anschutz 1415/1416? It has the 11mm rail and is not drilled and tapped. I plan to put a 1” tubed scope on it. What height rings do I need to clear a 40mm objective lens?

Thanks in advance.

BKL is all I use on rimfires anymore. Self centering, light, foolproof and won't mark a scope. They come in lots of configurations, 1" and 30mm. IMO they are the best thing for the Anschutz rail. Search BKL Technologies. Buy direct, they ship promptly. Read the instructions, you may have to "spread" the rings first to get them on the rail. There's a built in provision for this.
Med or high rings will get you there. Those stocks have a fairly high, straight comb and a high ring is more comfortable than most.
The BKL sight has specs and measurements on it as well.
Thank you for your response.

You are the second person to recommend BKL, but I struggle with the recommendation as BKL’s website doesn’t inspire much confidence in the product. Nowhere on their website can I find what these rings are made of. The FAQs speak to 3 ring heights, but they only sell products in 2 heights. Company contact info is not readily available. The fact that the products I might buy are sold out is a good sign, but doesn’t help me mount my scope. They are pretty ugly rings, but can live with that if I can get my questions answered and can find them in stock.

I’ve had good luck with Warne. They are made where you can use them on the two different size rails. Hasbeen

Many thanks, sqweeler.

BKL rings are aircraft grade aluminum alloy, per BKLs home page (lower right).
I have used a lot of the 257s, but have also used the full length clamped, cantilevered, double strap and drop compensated models. I started using these rings on my first Anschutz competition rifle and since then I have changed all my rimfires over to BKL.
They aren't the prettiest rings out there cosmetically, no high polish, glossy finish. Seems a bit odd putting them on a 1712. Don't get me wrong, they are well designed, well built and rock solid. Their beauty is in their function. You will see these rings a lot on high end rifles at national and regional matches, because they work.
PM me if you would like, I probably know where you can find some. I'm not connected on either end, just helping a fellow shooter out.
