Mule indoctrination - 06/14/21
So this weekend the grandkids came for the weekend. A 2 year old and a 5 year old, both boys to stay with granpa and nana.
So we petted the kitties, ran the leafblower and sprinkler and tractor and sat on the mules. The older one was hesitant at first, to just sit bareback on a 15 hand mule just standing by the gate, with granpa hoding him in position, but pretty quick it was ok.
If the mule went a step or two I walked along, if more than that I swung him off and on another one if he wanted. Soon it got to be pretty fun for him and he didn't want to get off. For me that was a win. Little brother was pretty fearless and wanted his turn pretty often.
The only casualty was my foot when I got my toes smashed a little, Oh and nana and moma both had small heart attacks, so they claimed.
The kids had fun, the mules and brood mare did good with little kids on their backs with the kids 2 strange dogs funning around and my toes survived.
I spent some time yesterday trying to conquer imghur but no victory as of yet as far as posting pictures.
