I haven't been on a dirt bike in 30 years. Last couple of years I wanted to get back into it. I got bad knees and a sketchy back.

Went to a friend's house for dinner and in his garage he had a kx60 in the corner. Asked him if it ran, he said tank was full.

After about 20 minutes I came back and told my wife I'm buying another one, just a grown up version.

She just smiled and said I know.

Lol why NOT????

Just don’t hurt yourself.
I'm only 50, I'm smarter than when I was 20...ok, I tell myself that.
Just felt good being on 2 wheels again.

I doubt very much it will be the first....

I got back on two wheels this year too. Drz400, then a BMW 1200GS. Good times. Been about.... 17 years I guess. I am marginally safer than I was in my 20s, but what are you gonna do?

My son just moved to Colorado where I was born and raised. I rode Trials bikes all over the High Country San Juan's growing up as it was still legal to do so. Rode Enduro's in the low country, 7000 ft...
Raced Enduro's in Upstate NY in College and told myself that I think I can still ride with the young guys out there and still think I can. However I am confident that I can't heal with them anymore so I did not buy a good modern Enduro for the mountains but bought a nice mid weight street bike to go see my son anytime I want at 50 miles per gallon instead as I am retiring in 2023.
The CO Cousin has a Husky 300 that doesn't get used much that I might borrow for a ride or two though! We only live once.

Careful with that Husky 300. Everyone I know that tried one, bought one. Them and the KTM 300s are hard to find, they sell fast. I have a friend waiting on a 2023 KTM 300, should get it this month.
