How many of you would go back to where you bought your first ATV? How well did you care for their service? And did you recommend them to anyone else! I've caught mine in a couple of lies already. One being them telling me that the Polaris Sportsman 500 H.O. in the Remmington Special Edition, wouldn't be available till around April. Then after buying the Duck's Unlimited, finding one of the Remmington's on their floor a week later.
Phil

Hmmmm, seems like the classic case of "snag your money while they can" because you may go elsewhere & buy brand X. Unfortunately, this short-sightedness costs them credibility & money in the long run & they are too damn stupid to realize it. I bought my Honda from out of state so it would be impractical for me to go back for service. (Do my own anyhow). That said, I made a 5 hour (one way) trip for the purchase & was pleased that the drive-out price was exactly as advertised, no hidden, last minute add-on fees. Saved about $1700.00 on the purchase over the then current local price. badger.
------------------
Procrastinate NOW!!!
[This message has been edited by badger (edited February 11, 2001).]

Badger: Your right on, about them trying to make a quick sale. I had been talking to them for over a week. They knew exactly what I was looking for. Boy they must have really seen me coming. Sorry to say. They promised to make it up to me, said they were going to throw in a rifle case and mount without charge. When I went to pick it up. It was some cheap aftermarket piece of junk. I told them to keep it, and I would pay for the Polaris model myself. That must have got them to thinking. They told me not to worry they would have the Polaris case by this next coming Friday. I've got to go through my paper work and see who my extended warrentee is through, and whether or not I'm going to have to keep dealing with this place.
Phil

I purchased my first wheeler from a large dealer. It was just like buying a car (the salesman). Not much knowledge about the product. The salesmen did not ride either.
I found the dealership for my wife by accident. I had an accident on mine and needed some new parts. So I stopped into this little hole in the wall dealership got some price quotes and looked at last years close outs (sportsman 500s). The price caught my eye so I bought one. I have had excellent customer service (they even know my name by my face). I go to this dealership for all my Polaris needs. These guys ride more than sell. They know there product. I suggest finding a dealer who is more than a salesman and stick with them.
Greyghost,
Any Polaris dealership should honor your warranty.
6X6
